I can’t believe I wrote this at least 10 years ago. It’s by a Windmill , and its about a Girl

Wrote this about the same time as WINDMILL, during my early college days. 2011? I don’t remember much of any learning going on during this time, but I do recall starting a band with some other nerds that lived in the art hall with me. We leaned pretty heavily on the lie that we were close friends with Batman. This rouse went as far naming our band “Batman’s Friends.” But he never came to any of our shows or practices, and so it wasn’t too long before people caught on.  Since I claimed WORDS and WINDMILL were “complete” songs, they were played as loud as possible for as many times as the ears around us would allow it. Turns out that number is not all that high, and there’s not too many places around campus where you can just “set up and play.” This is especially the case if the songs suck and you all sound like shit. Thankfully I was too high to remember any of the painful details, although I do recall having boatloads of fun in between the “fuzzy parts.” No one ever owned a boat though. That fact I miss the most.....
