Changing Seasons ~ Piano //Persona 3

This is my own piano arrangement of the orchestral version of Kimi no Kioku, present in the credits of Persona 3 FES and in the album "Persona 3 - Burn my dread -Reincarnation-". It's my heartfelt tribute to this incredible game, story and music.

Also, you can feel the pain by playing this... and I do mean literally. The left hand chords make your hand really spread and wide open. It was a bit of a challenge, but well worth it, as I believe the song sounds much "fuller" and just prettier using these chords, as the left and right hands each do two voices rather than just the bass and main melody. I really enjoyed working on this and playing it‼

There are also many mistakes on this take... oh well. Hope you enjoy it‼

Kimi No Kioku ~ Piano //Persona 3

I composed a theme song inspired by the Warrior class on Guild Wars 2. I worked it based on two concepts: first, the Warrior's Adrenalin, which increases as the battle progresses, and culminates on the powerful burst skill; and second, on the idea of it being the best physical brawler of all classes, and thus the cheering in the start, as if he was a wrestling star.

I have plans on working out a "theme song" for each of the classes in the game, each in it's own genre. Warrior's the heaviest of them all, and thus I went for a more "raw" approach with the heavy distorted guitar, bass and drums. Please tell me what you think‼

Warrior Theme: King Of The Arena (Guild Wars 2 inspired)

This theme is inspired by the Mesmer class in Guild Wars 2. This time, I went for the concept of illusions, trickery, confusion, mind and time control, etc. - all integral parts of this class.

This theme is inspired by the Necromancer class in Guild Wars 2. No class mechanic theme this time around, just good 'ol death, darkness and fear.

Boss theme, Final Fantasy-ish styled, from the (long dead, sadly) game project Soul Night.

Theme inspired by my main class in Guild Wars 2 - the Guardian. Worked based on the virtues of the Guardian class: Justice, Resolve and Courage. To me, the Guardian is the faithful warrior which stands up to defend the ones in need, so I went for a "heroic protector" vibe for this track.

Guardian Theme: Faith and Resolve (Guild Wars 2 inspired)

Theme inspired by the Thief class in Guild Wars 2. The gameplay of the Thief is what guided this track, especially in PvP. It is about stealth, fast-paced combat, engaging, disengaging and catching the enemy by surprise.

Thief Theme: The Predator (Guild Wars 2 inspired)

This theme is inspired by the Elementalist class in Guild Wars 2. It follows a thematic progression, going through Fire, Water, Wind and Earth, and climaxing in the union of these four themes.

Inspired by Heart of Thorns' new profession: the Revenant. I had two main themes in mind: the ethereal landscapes between worlds called The Mists, from where the Revenant draws its power, and a triumphant return from them.

Revenant Theme: Mistwalker's Return (Guild Wars 2 inspired)

The Engineer is a master when it comes to technology and chemistry, gadgets and explosives. This track is more contained melodically, with heavy emphasis on the improvised and industrial percussion, evoking images of an Engineer in a workshop, creating all kinds of gaudy mechanisms to use in battle.

The last of the 9 classes! The Ranger's theme tries to convey the feeling of being one with nature and the animals.

Yèwù Zīběn means "Work Capital" in Google-translate Chinese. It probably means something completely different in real Chinese.

This is a Chinese Orchestral-style music, which I made thinking of a bustling ancient Chinese city, with people going everywhere, living their daily lives. It has an adventurous and hopeful, almost heroic feel.
