In The BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

Sigur ai auzit cel puțin o dată veșnicul discurs că toți suntem defecți. 
Sau poate te-ai gândit la tine în situația asta, că nu-ți iese nimic, că te tot împotmolești. 

Ca oameni avem un mod foarte ciudat de a ne raporta la propria persoană și la cei din jur. Și mai des decât ai crede multe dintre deciziile noastre au la bază cel puțin o traumă. 

Tocmai de aceea, cu acest episod, am vrut să explorăm lumea vastă a traumei, formele sale, manifestările din viața de zi cu zi. Lucrurile alea care-s chiar sub nasul tău, dar refuzi să le vezi, pentru că s-ar putea să fie mult prea dureros.  

Este, totodată, poate cel mai lung episod pe care l-am făcut până acum, dar si așa ni se pare prea scurt pentru câte lucruri încă mai sunt de elucidat.

În acest demers ne-a fost alături Diana Vasile. Ea este psiholog, psihoterapeută, dar și președinta Institutului pentru Studiul și Tratamentul Traumei. 

Te invităm să ne fii alături și posibil să descoperi răspunsuri la acele acțiuni sau decizii din viața ta la care până acum nu aveai nicio concluzie. Și, cu puțină răbdare, să găsești și niște soluții.

Explore the concept of "Deep Calm" with this music meditation set.
Get your favorite headphones and treat yourself to a mini Zendo Stereo / Music Meditation at home!
Here is how:
Find a comfortable place to lay down, use your favorite sleep mask, or dim the lights/add some candles.

Set an intention for the journey.
“Let Go of Something” and “Call Something In”, keep it simple.

And the music starts, take 6 deep breaths, slowly count to 6 on the way in, rest 3 seconds, count to 6 on the way out.

The meditation is to notice the music and your feelings for the next hour, there is no wrong way of doing it. Just call out what you are hearing as it appears, "That piano is interesting", "I love the way that bass feels", etc..
When thoughts come just acknowledge them just come back to the music. When the music brings up feelings, just ride them, the music moves through it and you move through it with it. It gets easier as you get deeper into the mix.

You will alter your brain from a Beta state to an Alpha state by just listening. And hopefully touch some deep Theta brainwaves of deep rest, meditation, insight, and peace.

Anlässlich unseres dreijährigen Jubiläums möchten wir euch einen ganz besonderen Künstler und sein Set präsentieren. Er war es, der vor sechs Jahren meine kleine musikalische Welt komplett auf den Kopf stellte und sie dadurch viel größer machte. Damals schickte mir mein Cousin sein Set „Still see her dancing“ mit dem Kommentar, dass die 66 Minuten super seien und auch der Künstler selbst ein super sympathischer Typ sei. Auch deswegen freuen wir uns heute umso mehr, dass wir Viperflo für die Traumschmiede gewinnen konnten!

Viperflo: Musik muss Geschichten erzählen oder bestimmte Stimmungen treffen. Ich versuche dies mit meinen Mixen, weil ich mit der Musik bestimmte Situationen verarbeite. Daher trifft jeder Mix eine bestimmte Stimmung einer bestimmten Zeit und es freut mich dann besonders, wenn die Mixe andere Menschen genauso berühren wie mich.

Hot Chip made their mix almost entirely live; with signature HC drive it still retains a strong nod to James’ original.
