Nikša Đerek, better known as Nider, has been deeply connected to music for as long as he can remember. His journey into electronic music began in Dubrovnik, inspired by a neighbor who managed a local nightclub. It wasn’t long before he discovered the icons of the 2000s EDM scene—Paul Van Dyk, Tiësto, ATB, Above & Beyond—artists whose groundbreaking sounds fueled his creative spark.

From the first beat, Nider felt a profound connection with electronic music. What started as a love for listening quickly evolved into mixing and deejaying. He began spinning tracks at private parties in Dubrovnik and worked his way up to local pubs and nightclubs. But with Dubrovnik’s EDM scene still in its infancy, Nider set his sights higher, moving to Zagreb to immerse himself in music production.

In 2010, Nider made his mark by signing with a label and releasing his debut single, "Grooving", a smooth, chill progressive house track that gained strong support. The following year brought a string of releases, including "Moving", "Step Up", and "Night Shift". Balancing his university studies with his creative pursuits meant production took a backseat for a while, but in 2014, Nider returned with a renewed passion and a relentless drive to establish himself on the scene.
