Temple Dayz Tribute
Back in 1996, The Temple opened on Oxford St, featuring 3 levels of pumping Oldskool bangers. For those that were lucky enough to experience The Temple, it was a true club with awesome sound & lighting, amazing crowds where everyone came to dance and party – and everyone got along and looked after each other.
Captain Kirk was resident DJ there, playing some memorable sets to packed dancefloors on a weekly level. Besides being a very humble and down to earth guy, his sets during the mid to late 90’s helped shape this amazing scene which is alive and well after all these years.
It was one awesome night / morning in 96/97 where I had the privilege of partying to one of those sets, a 5-hour marathon set which changed me musically forever. After walking out of the club that next morning, all I wanted to do was become a DJ and the Captain was and still remains my biggest influence as a DJ. 
The crazy thing, I still remember most of what he played during that magical set Back in 96/97 – and after sharing this story with the captain himself, he came up with an amazing idea that we recreate that set (with the tracks I remember him playing) and go back-to-back on a live mix. Humbled, excited, absolutely smitten to be part of this back-to-back mix with one of the pioneers in Oldskool Nrg, and most of all, my biggest influence as a DJ.

Nick began his club residencies in 1997 with his HI-NRG sets at clubs such as The Temple, Liquid, Rogues, NV, lizard Lounge, Waves & Studio 01 (Wollongong)quickly establishing himself on the nations prime nightclub strip -  Oxford Street Sydney.

His sounds are a mixture of Hi-Nrg and European deep house vocal. The Sydney NRG scene has always been his passion and Nick has proudly been associated with many reunion events that have reinvented the sounds that so many of us love.
