As part of the project to compose, record, and release my first collection of music (Romantic Vignettes), I had the chance to play recording engineer for a day. At my pianist's house (Laure Struber), I set up four microphones with cables running to a makeshift sound booth: two cardioid AKG451s inside the piano and two sE4 omni mics to grab the room tone. It was a super fun day! Very gratifying to hear my work come to life under such capable hands (THANK YOU Laure!!).

These are self-made demos, you can find the professional studio version up on my YouTube and Spotify! (They'll be up within the next few weeks).

Last thing. The final track is a sped up version of Remember the Aspen Grove. I stumbled upon the sound while listening through the album on x3 speed (just checking for major issues) and thought it has a special je ne sais quoi kind of feel. I love running into these things so randomly, now I want to use that trick in the next game I write for - very sound design, very good :drooling_emoji:

The universe tried something. It didn't feel right, so it moved on.

We feel, a lot, and that's ok. That's the point. That's why we're here.
We love, and that love is beautiful.
We channel our feelings into art, writing, music, then we move along. 
We are grateful that we have the opportunity to feel. 

Life is weird, it's scary. 
It can be scary to feel so much.
That's ok too. It's ok to be afraid.
This is the process of the universe discovering itself. 
Every living being is a fingertip of the universe, the vessels for the world to feel. 
We explore and we feel and we get scared and we reorient and move on.
That's how the universe feels, how the universe grows.

We are growing. We are feeling.
We are loving. We are losing.
We are alive.
We are living.
