Nick Skitz needs no introduction. He is arguably the “Godfather “of dance & the master of remix. Since 1996, Skitz has released assorted dance/pop compilations of the latest tracks, with major charting success under the brand Skitzmix, which recently launched volume No. 52. He is a million selling Artist. His work is prolific and live touring relentless. Nick has an uncanny intuition and knack of producing, remixing and collaborating with a broad range of artists and DJ’s .This has allowed “Skitz “to stay connected and relevant whist adapting his music to the changing needs of new audiences over the last 20 years. 
         The Horses. Nick has always been a fan of great songs, of any genre that connect & resonate throughout the ages. He first heard Ricky Lee Jones original version in his early twenties and was enchanted to say the least. When the seminal Braithwaite version arrived the project was shelved for many years until recently. Whilst reminiscing and foraging through his Record collection he stumbled across the track and the passion for remixing the song was reignited. There was no stopping “Skitz “! 
        The remix was masterful, progressive and like all others relevant to the time, but finding a suitable vocalist was proving difficult, the vocal needed to be new and not a photo copy of the past. After many demo attempts Skitz was contemplating shelving the project once again until he was introduced to an unknown 17 year old from QLD. 
        Meg Ripps. (What’s in name)! Nick was presented some of her recordings, and from the moment he heard her vocal he knew she was the one. Within days she was in the studio and Meg nailed it! Her interpretation, her tone and vocal prowess (way beyond her years of experience) has lifted the song to a new level & in doing so may well have kick started her own recording career.
