Like we did in November 2012 with the LS-14, we test the Olympus LS-P2 in various ways, including some tests we have never conducted before. The tests are a mixture of scientific and non-scientific, covering limiters, microphones, the zoom setting, and most telling of all, the gainstage and noise. Where prudent, we compare this recorder to the one it directly replaces, which is, of course, the LS-14. Tests range from irreverent to serious, and some strong language may be present. We hope we have created a fun battery of tests for you all to listen to.
