The My Definition of Chill series, which has always been the purest public expression of my taste in music, has exceeded all expectations I ever had for it. What began as a playlist of songs I liked to listen to at the end of the night has evolved into a soundtrack of my life. The reaction from those who have let me know how this series has been a part of their lives has touched me deeply and I appreciate every story and word of thanks I have received. Thank you for sharing and letting me be a part of your life.  

The inspiration for Vol. 7 Brazil started out as a series of unintentionally ignored emails and eventually came around to the formation of a new friendship, an incredible journey to Brazil, and what I hope will be a long term musical partnership based on a love of similar music and now this mix. 

I have to thank my good friends Ricardo and Fred from the Peninsula Beach Club Hotel in Bahia, Brazil for having the vision to bring me in as resident DJ for the New Years holiday and for sharing with me their slice of paradise. It was truly a pleasure to play for a group of amazingly beautiful and friendly Brazilians and the vibe continues to inspire me.

The Universal Tribe Records series kicks off with INVERTED WORLD featuring this fresh, "Expressions" Live Set with a wide range of his releases, from older tracks to the most recent releases, recorded especially for this Universal Tribe series on radiOzora. Lucas Magalhães is the Brazilian behind the Inverted World project. A native of Minas Gerais and a lover of psychedelic music, he presents in his productions a deep and introspective musical education, bringing to his sound influences from different musical genres, combined with percussion, tribal elements and organic atmospheres, which refer to the power of nature and the jungle, bringing a peculiar style that moves masterfully between Bush Prog and Dark Prog, with strong Zenonesque characteristics. Representative of the renowned Australian record label Universal Tribe Records since 2021, being the first Brazilian producer to sign with the label, today he already collects releases by several highly regarded national and international record labels.

Comet Collective features MEMENTOMOR in this episode: "the live set includes both released and unreleased music from my archive. Hope you like it:)" Mementomor is a fusion of authenticity and musical intelligence. The artist behind this unique project is Netanel Mor.  After studying sound engineering at Ariel University, he chose to focus on analog sound synthesis and sound design.  Drawing inspiration from the philosophical concept of Memento Mori, Mementomor weaves an intricate tapestry of sound that explores the transient nature of life and the beauty of fleeting moments. By blending hypnotic beats with ethereal melodies, he creates immersive experiences that invite listeners to lose themselves on the dancefloor and embrace the power of the present moment.
