Doug Cooney lives and breathes techno within every facet of his life and has dedicated many years to the growth and well-being of the genre in Ireland. From setting up one of Ireland’s best techno labels RLSD to teaching in Bray Institute Of Further Education, alongside teaching his RLSD classes, to churning out proper techno 12 inches, there are few Irish DJs and producers that come close to Doug Cooney in terms of impact on the Irish techno scene.

Doug Cooney also boasts of being one of the most technically gifted DJs on the isle of Ireland. Meticulous attention to detail behind a set of turntables has seen Cooney share the booth with formidable techno figures such as Dave Clarke, James Ruskin, UVB, Mark Broom, and more. Doug has a number of distinguished international gigs under his belt, with a debut at the fabled Tresor in Berlin alongside HöR being the highlights.

In recent years Doug has been burning the midnight oil in the studio, crafting high-octane and distinctly functional techno tracks. Cooney has recently signed records with respected labels such as Orbis, GND, Gynoid, EFR, Bastardo Electrico, N&N Records, Research & Orgone, alongside RLSD Records his own imprint laying a solid foundation for his future in music. His productions have received support from Dave Clarke, Amelie Lens, Ben Sims, Luke Slater, Rodhad, KR!Z, and Answer Code Request. Doug’s tracks have also been remixed by Aiken, Binny, Lee Holman, and Dystopian records' Jon Hester, proving his calibre in the international arena.

Nick Bowman is a DJ, Producer and Radio Host from England. He has played several times at Ministry of Sound (CLR / The Gallery / Saturday Sessions / Club Shelter), Pacha London, Egg, Basing House, Scala, and River Thames boat parties where his underground, bass driven techno, minimal and tech house beats tore up the dance floors of England’s capital city. He has played extensively in Colombia and also played in Germany and Italy.
Nick had already played his first gig at Ministry of Sound when he won the globally respected and renowned DJ mix competition, IDJ Magazine’s (International DJ Magazine) prestigious “Raw Talent Competition”. Nick’s winning mix received amazing reviews from some of the world’s top DJ’s, including Jody Wisternoff, Riva Starr and Deepgroove.
He hosts one of the most respected underground techno radio shows around, The Future Underground Show. The show can now be heard on Digitally Imported's Techno Channel every third Friday of the month at www.di.fm/techno and was previously on Future Radio - www.futureradio.co.uk -107.8 FM. The shows are made available to listen again and download and see thousands of plays and downloads each month. Nick mixes on the show and has interviews and guest mixes from the biggest names in global techno.
