Here is the first movement of a trombone concerto I started writing. I need to edit some things but I wrote this in about a week at the end of May. Working on the 2nd and 3rd movements currently. I drew inspiration from Howard Hanson, Erich Wolfgang Korngold and John Williams (who in turn drew inspiration from the previously mentioned composers).
"This music describes to me how a futuristic society would look back nostalgically on the past. This is musically how they would view a past that isn't quite tangible to them. Almost in an idealized way. In turn, perhaps this is an idealized way the past viewed the future."
