A work for nine performers premiered at the 2014 Taneycomo Festival Orchestra chamber music series in Branson, Missouri. The work draws its title from the deep fogs that rise off of Lake Taneycomo with each summer nightfall, enveloping the landscapes until the heat of the day returns.

Nick Curry is a music theorist, composer, and violinist from Kansas City. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas and the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in music theory and music composition. He currently studies music theory at Yale.
