The first in a series of mixes from the fantastic local business in my area to celebrate the easing of lockdown restrictions. First up was the wonderful Arteria on 16 April 2021 which was streamed live across my Facebook, YouTube and Instagram channels.

Located in the heart of historic Lancaster, Arteria is housed in a restored 1800s building where you can discover a shopping experience with a personal touch.

The mix kicks off with a stunning emotive track from The Cinematic Orchestra, aptly named, The workers of Art then builds into some wonderful Organic and Melodic house.

Evening, Wednesday, Black Rock City 2014. Led by Paavo and Tony of Above and Beyond, bathing in the lavender sunset, we practiced an hour of yoga with Elena Brower. We gathered, strengthened, listened and received the gift of quiet. We landed at home in our own hearts. This class reminds us that we are never alone, and that no matter where we are, we are on the path, and right at home.

Above & Beyond - Robot Heart Yoga - Burning Man 2014

I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. 

I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages.

 I hope you love the tracks as much as I do and thanks for listening.
