"The Night Flows Like a Cup of Coffee" is a track I wrote on a windy night in Hanoi, sitting quietly beside a simple upright piano. This is a minimalist and introspective piece, and its purpose is very simple: it's for anyone who feels tired, but doesn't necessarily feel sad.

As we grow up, everything gradually becomes more melancholic, much like a cup of cold coffee: bitter on the tongue, then sweet after it cools. This song is a gentle question to ourselves: "If tomorrow morning we are no longer young, then tonight, allow ourselves to be silent." Don't say anything more, just sit and listen to the sound of time falling.

I hope the emotional, nostalgic and quiet stillness of this song touches a deep place in your soul.

"Đêm Trôi Như Một Cốc Cà Phê" là một ca khúc mà tôi viết trong một đêm Hà Nội trở gió, chỉ ngồi lặng lẽ bên cây piano mộc. Đây là một bản nhạc tối giản và chiêm nghiệm, mục đích của nó rất đơn giản: dành cho những ai đang cảm thấy mệt mỏi mà không cần phải buồn.

Chúng ta lớn lên, và mọi thứ dần trở nên u hoài, giống như ly cà phê để nguội: đắng đầu lưỡi, rồi ngọt sau khi nguội. Bài hát này là lời tự hỏi nhẹ nhàng: "Nếu sáng mai ta không còn trẻ, thì đêm nay cho phép mình lặng lẽ." Đừng nói gì cả, chỉ ngồi nghe tiếng thời gian rơi thôi.

Sydney, Australia based singer/songwriter/rapper Nick de la Hoyde has been expressing himself through music since he was 16 while pursuing a professional, football career in Barcelona and searching for a new, creative outlet.
