Two years ago, I fell into a deep depression.  Not knowing if I had a purpose or place in Rap, I decided to quit.  After years of fighting demons, praying, and bettering myself, it was time that I broke out of my shell and be the artist I know I am.  Now...I am here to stay.  Seven is the number of completion. This is my 7th project.  I give to you, SEVEN...Experience the end of my arc and prepare for the start of a new one.

I Got Something To Say

Nick Finesse was born and raised on the Eastside of Chicago. As a toddler, he was introduced to rap music by his older brother. Nick Finesse started listening to East Coast artists such as Black Rob Jay-Z, and Biggie. Also, Down South Trap rappers like Gucci Mane, and homegrown music by Kanye West and Common. He started taking rap serious in his sophomore year in high school, which is when he then started the rap group 'ILL MINDED ODYSSEY" with Visionary J and Danny Dinero. His debut single "Blue Faces" was off of his debut mixtape "Summer Days", which was released June 3rd, 2016 and can be found on his Soundcloud. He would then continue to upload his projects to Soundcloud like "Summer Nights" (2016), "FINE$$E EP" (2017), "Atelophobia" (2017), and "FINE$$E 2 EP" (2018).  He took a break from music in 2018 to focus on college and get a better hold of his anxiety and depression so he stopped making his own music.  During the interim, he learned how to mix and master music so he became the audio engineer for some of his friends (Visionary J, Tafari Marley, OutPastMidnight).  He returned to the music scene during the Summer of 2020 with his single "Wake Up" that focused on the social climate at the time of corruption, police brutality, and just topics that he wanted to speak on.  In October, he dropped his first project in 2 years entitled, "SEVEN".  This project marks the "end of an arc, start of a new" for him.
