Today on Meta Moto Premieres, we are excited to introduce the latest EP from Mexico's underground Kyma Komplex label. Presenting "Blue Flamingos" by Thaddeus X, this release pays homage to mid-90s acid house and includes a remix by Ludmila Fuks. "Blue Flamingos" showcases Thaddeus X's artistic vision, inspired by the genre's psychedelic and raw evolution, influenced by countless nights spent in Madrid’s electronic clubs, particularly the legendary Sala Stella. 

The EP delivers a unique fusion of powerful rhythms and psychedelic sounds, crafted to transport listeners into a cosmic dance floor experience. Each track features percussion and synthesizers that capture the trance and avant-garde spirit of those formative years. Thaddeus X's creative process emphasizes experimentation and spontaneity, building rhythmic foundations with analog synthesizers and hardware machines to generate an atmosphere of euphoria and joy. With a rawer sound and a broader vision, Thaddeus X offers mischievous and potent tracks, perfect for the frenzy of the dance floor.

Nick Hanzo, with a career spanning nearly two decades, contributes his mastery of electronic sounds, from Trippy Disco to Leftfield IDM, drawing on his rich background as a sound designer and producer. His diverse influences, ranging from saxophone to his years immersed in the Viennese music scene, add a unique depth to the collaboration.

Ludviq, aka Luis Fernando, based in Barcelona and active since 2016, brings his unique style blending psychedelic influences, Italo, Post Punk, Indie, Breaks, Disco, and EBM. As the founder of the Bonkers label, Ludviq has made his mark on the electronic scene with a bold and avant-garde sound.

"Bananas" is the result of this dynamic collaboration, reflecting their expertise in sound production and their eclectic influences.

As Nick once said: "You don’t need vocals when the synths sing", and that’s the point of this track. In the hands of a master, beats and sequences of this track build up a unique collaboration.
The "Disco Mirage", presented by famous DJ and music producer, and the head of Belly Dance Services Nick Hanzo from Vienna is the one that matches this description.
Shall you not be misled by the synths that follow the whole track - they are brightly accompanied by the sounds that make the sound very cosmic, surreal and… dancey. The Disco mirage as it is, no more words.

The roots of the track remind us of the good old disco rhythms aptly seasoned by modern samples that takes the track out of time and makes it eternal.

Malka Tuti in collaboration with the italian imprint Roccodisco, and label bosses Ed Rodion and Hugo Sanchez bring forth "Perfidia". Ed and Hugo (aka Alien Alien) are no strangers to pitched down sexy dancefloor tunes. With previous releases on Slow Motion records they've made a name for themselves as sexy bastards. With Perfidia they present the vocalist Igino, a friend from home, Rome. Together they've boiled a slow burning, constantly evolving song for the late late hours. Strong Kick, deep low frequencies and those vocals lay the foundations for a true K-Pop hit. On the remix for the A-side Malka Tuti present a collaboration of two disco legends Ray Mang and Severino Panzetta (oh Horse Meat Disco), that add a Mediterranean flavor to the original tune, easing things up... On the b-side we have another slow burner with "Bella l'Estate", joined by a top remix by Tel Avivian prodigy Naduve to conclude your go to "hit of the summer package".

Nick Hanzo unravels a broad auditory canvas, previously with project Hanzo & Yaman, recently solo, with numerous collabs and his avant-garde label Belly Dance Service. Within his musical amalgamation Nick fuses multi dimensional influences from Trippy Disco & Techno, Leftfield, IDM, creating symphonies that defy genres. Nick's musical journey echoes with compelling notes from the early years of saxophone and clarinet to the transformative turntable discovery during a half year stay in Madrid in 2005 until 2016 when completing a degree in sound design and diving into the Viennes Music scene, hooking up with music profesionals collecting skills in various studios.  In 2024 Nick Hanzo teamed up with various artists to practice live sets with appearences in boutique clubs and festivals in Austria and Slovakia. Besides Live Sets also DJ Sets stay of interest, with almost two decades of DJing, Nick orchestrates electrifying ambiences with refined technique and deep track selections into transcending dance experiences.

Nick Hanzo’s talent shines on stages with luminaries like Local Suicide, Joyce Muniz and Damon Jee, solidifying his place as a sonic sorcerer leaving behind a trail of musical mystique. (Counterraism, 2024)
