Today we premiere a track from rising Limerick techno boss, Jon10. The Izotope head honcho has put together hard hitting yet melodic techno track as part of his label’s second VA release.

IZØTOPEV94, a collective previously set up as an event to highlight the rising talent in limerick. Recent times have forced the collective to dabble in the digital world of music.

From live-streams to t-shirt releases and an ongoing mix series, IZØTOPEV94 has decided to take it one step further and curate its very own label. Allowing artist from the V94 and beyond to flourish their music production skill that have been carefully crafted over the last 2 years. 

This hard hitting and melodic V/A includes artists such as Jon10, Taggy Prince Prada, Llukke. Hooligan and Blokes45 all of which express their unique tastes in electronic music through the variety of genres and sub genres that are contained within this V/A. 

Jon10’s track Breakthrough is tough as nails but remains euphoric and melodic in its poignant delivery. Break beat’s are met with a sub shaking kick drum and Underworld like pads flood the soundscape. A swirling and entrancing flute takes centre stage through out the track. This is a real delight.

Four Four Premiere: Jon10 - Breakthrough [Izotope]

Kicking off our guest mix series we have none other than @robhardiman.

Playing at several sold-out shows in Club 061 as well as making his Pharmacia debut in recent weeks Robbie is no stranger to the limerick club scene. A @club.061 resident he can often be seen busting out high energy sets filled with a wide range of electronic beats. He’s also making a name for himself further afield making two trips up to Galway for “Translucent Nights”. Most recently Robbie took the reigns organising his own night in club 061, getting Rowdiboi down to limerick which proved to be a very memorable night.

He has dropped several mixes on his personal SoundCloud as well as making an appearance on Space Collectives techno podcast and Translucent’s guest mix series. Recently making his first track “Almat” which was released on the star-studded “Scauldy Selects VA002” there’s no doubt there’s a future in producing for this man.

With a fast-paced hard-hitting selection of tracks, this mix is sure to get your feet moving.

Next up on Equinox Selects, we welcome @rudy_oleary A.K.A RUDYÅRD. RUDYÅRD is a 23 year old Dublin based DJ and Co-founder of @theshedresidents.

Rudy, along with the rest of the @theshedresidents crew, have made themselves impossible to ignore in the Dublin electronic music scene as of late. As well as regular releases on their own mix series, seomra sessions, the shed have made themselves at home in clubs across Dublin, sharing the stage with distinguished names such as @rowdiboi_official, @mav.666 and the world renowned @D.Dan___. 
Rudy has also played support for acclaimed DJs such as @shannen_blessing_ , @illyakorniyenko and @charliesparksmusic. 
The shed has also garnered attention for their infamous secret location raves around Dublin. 

Rudy, consistently captivates his listeners with his unique style, favouring a combination of Industrial Techno, Hard-Groove and Shranz. Rudy also regularly teams up with @tolentechno to form the dominant duo ‘Transk’.
