GOOD LARDY LARD. do i love Zebbler Encanti Experience. the first time i heard the original Freakquency i think i did a backflip. and then they went deeper, the music video caused many a table to be flipped, with all its psychedelic-miley-cyrus-justin-bieber-illuminati-ego-bending-paradigm-shifting glory.

anyway, when these guys personally asked me to do an official remix of it, i was more than floored. doing my best to take it into any and every other realm possible, i hope i lived up to the possibilities, taking it a few iterations deeper into the psyche. with more remixes by some of my best musical accomplices like Space Jesus, Of The Trees, & The Digital Connection, to name a few, this remix album (as well as the original) is more than a treat.

Inspired by thought, feelings and listening to a bunch of Vataff Project.
Really wanted to do something different and experiment without having a defined melody or even key signature. I intend for the listener to explore various image and emotions in this journey. Its meant to confuse at first but kind of resolve at the end. This piece feels like entering a portal to the unknown.

Writing In The Dark

Back in April we released our debut project, ‘Glitch With Friends: Samples Vol. 1’. Since then we have been hard at work on a new batch of projects, the first of which is ‘Glitch With Friends: Compilation Vol. 1’, an 8-track compilation produced entirely using samples from our prior sample pack.

The compilation features many familiar faces from 'Samples Vol. 1' as well as some newcomers. There were no instructions given for this project other than - "use only samples we created", and as a result there is a wide variety of musical styles and sensibilities on display here, illustrating the sonic range of the samples and the producers themselves.

This tune is my contribution to the compilation. I hope you enjoy! I spent about two months working on the tune, having an hour or two per day (not every day, though). Two more tunes were created out of the same project, which will hopefully be released by the end of the year, or the start of the next one. 

I am very excited to see how this community develops over time.
