This is a fairly happy song from the perspective of my normal writing.  I'm enthralled with the way it turned out.  I hope you are too! 

I Should Have Been There

Dude. Sometimes thinking about stuff for way too long can yield unexpected results.  This song gave me a lot of trouble because I wanted to write about what I was genuinely afraid of, but I'm not the kind of person to wallow in my fears.  The ending is me accepting that I even though I'm afraid of things, my overall complacence protects me from being too hot/bothered.
