As an EDM DJ Producer, my focus has always been on the lyrics and the melody. If a melody/lyric doesn't move me, then I will not move forward in releasing it. 

Nearly 2 years ago, I made a song with my friend Hash, and we made this beautiful song that so many of you have resonated with, and we are truly grateful. 

In return, I wanted to make a version for everyone to listen to, regardless of whether you enjoy EDM or not. This version is a complete stripping down of the all the frills and the noise; it is just down to the chords, the melody and the lyrics.

So I hope all of you enjoy this version, making this version a year ago really made me tear up, cause this is the reason why I started making music in the first place: to create real meaningful music that resonates with people and myself.

Starting out with a set of dreamy lyrics which reflect a persona who wishes to fully express her unconditional and unwithheld love and affection to the person she longs to be with, then follows a harsh, aggressive electronic-driven drop, a sound which to expresses the aggressive dichotomy of her dreamy desire yet aggressive reality of realizing the personas challenges and trials she is met with in an attempt to express her love towards the one she wishes to be with.

I have truly never been prouder than to be releasing this song to the world. This song has carried me through my greatest highs and my lowest valleys, and I hope that when you listen to this song, you feel the same I do too. 

If there's one message I want to convey through this song, it is to live your life to your fullest potential, to live truly the way you want to live it, and be who you want to be, no matter what others may say or think about you. "Life is a journey through a City Of Angels", and this "City Of Angels" can be anything you want it to be for you. 

A huge shoutout to my friend, Hash, for being the songwriter and vocalist for this song. I simply gave him the track, and he has beautifully written lyrics which reflect my intent and heart for this song. He is one of the most talented, dedicated, and thoughtful songwriters I know, and his vocals is truly heaven-sent. I am so proud to be releasing my first single with him after knowing him for at least two years by now.
