Huxley's finest moments may have come in 2012 through his tracks 'Box Clever' and 'Let It Go'. But from what we've heard of his debut album 'Blurred', he may be about to usurp those achievements.

Released on 20:20 Vision and Hypercolour respectively, the aforementioned tracks showcased the producer's innate talent of producing heavy-hitting house with a firm focus on the dancefloor and he hasn't looked back since.

Eli & Fur, aka Eli Noble and Jennifer Skillman, have been making a name for themselves on the London DJ circuit of late, and putting out a string of fresh and exciting singles, including “Seeing Is Believing”, their excellent collaboration with Shadow Child. “Feel The Fire” is a tougher, harder-edged take on their typically melodic sound, and works wonders with their ethereal vocals.

A memorable moment from Anjunadeep 06, the energetic original mix has been a mainstay in James Grant and Jody Wisternoff’s DJ sets this year. Fellow rising stars Journeyman take on remix duties, stripping down the peak-time power of the original for a more mellow rolling style, with a buoyant groove carrying the track through flowing chord stabs and the distinctive vocal hook.

"Cassia" is delightful introduction to the largely unheralded talent of  Icarus  – and when you're making music this sun-kissed, the gags practically write themselves. Carefree scattering of instrumentation and a refreshingly tropical vibe are reminiscent of Axel Boman's balmiest moments, only propelled by a much more naked dancefloor drive. When the seesawing piano lead collides with the backing claps around the halfway mark, the result is borderline dazzling.

As a neat bonus, this one arrives via a resurged FFRR: a behemoth of a label with too many highlights in their catalogue to mention (although especial mention goes to somehow releasing both Orbital and The Watts Prophets in the same calendar year). A testament to their keen ear for fresh talent, and commitment to diversity, even after all these years.

Icarus "Cassia" - Boiler Room Debuts

Eekkoo joins the Anjunadeep family by remixing Lane 8 & Matthew Dear's hit collaboration "Undercover". The Canadian producer adds some twisted and lovely percussions on his own very deep and warm groove. While the end of the track gets blended with Eekkoo's analog and rich synth lead.

The South African phenomenon Black Coffee has become well known in recent years due to his impeccable blend of house, infused with African culture and vibes. In 2012, ‘Buya’ was released featuring the stunning vocalist Toshi. The track went platinum in Africa in 2 months, bringing Black Coffee into the international spotlight. Now, Get Physical has taken the reigns and handed the track over to Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y. and Da Capo. 

Loco Dice lays down a touch of Funk, lightening the mood and takes the track into his world between house and techno, and brings back a bouncy experience.
M.A.N.D.Y. on the other hand, opts to keep the original deepness intact, throwing us a super fluid dance number for stirring up a boiling dancefloor. 
Da Cappo then generates an elegantly organic atmosphere, with the energy loosened and wrapped up in a thick blanket of jazzy-swing. 
This EP also marks the first taste of a brand new compilation series coming soon to Get Physical, Africa Gets Physical. 

Loco Dice who has African roots spends his proceeds of the EP for the development of the new website, and the donation campaign for the Kliptown Youth Centre in Soweto, South Africa, a non-profit project that provides hope through tutoring, athletic, music and arts programs.
The returns will go to helping the heroes of the Kliptown Youth Center in Soweto, South Africa, giving kids a chance to create and express themselves whereas they might not have had that chance before. The youth is our future, and right now they need our help and support.

Poesie Musik has the very special honor to announce the release of a remix of a song known the world over, authored by no less than Sade. One of the prolific singer's most well-known creations, ‚Pearls‘ is given a deluxe makeover by German dance floor mainstay Timo Jahns, whose moody, melancholy personal sound fits perfectly with the sultry vocals on one of the crooner's most moving songs. 

Hailing from Göttingen, Timo Jahns has carved out a name for himself on the German party circuit thanks in part to an endless list of edited music and remixes on labels like Ponsactrilau, Underyourskin Records, Neverending, Cometomusic, Klang Gymnastik and 9Volt, as well as his own imprint FREUNDCHEN RECORDS, created for an intimate circle of few. 

This latest foray into the reworking of certain melodic masterpieces comes after Timo’s remixes of music by the likes of songstress Melody Gardot and Bon Iver just last year. For this special rendition of ‚Pearls‘, the producer has carefully lead the tune into deep-house terrains and turned it into a track just begging for summer afternoons and thoughtful chill-out sessions.
