Nick Marsalek - "Strangle"

This is a tribute page to the musician, the composer, the guitarist, and my twin brother Nick Z Marsalek.  His life was cut short on Nov 17th 2004 one tragic night in Baltimore.  The world will never be the same with his enigmatic, passionate, intelligent presence.  Nick left behind a small but relevant discography, most of which he was steadily building upon after moving back to his hometown, Baltimore, MD, at the turn of 2002.  After a 5 year run in New Orleans while attending Loyola University and UNO for graduate studies, majoring on Guitar Jazz Performance, he joined the Baltimore experimental scene, making waves.  At the time of his passing, he was playing around town, notably with "That Guy" and on the fringe of making a larger move to either NYC, Chicago, or Los Angeles.  Who knows what would have become of Nick's dreams, his vision and musical experiments.  Enjoy the music and think of him.  RIP Nick Marsalek, 7/30/1978-11/17/2004
