Heres my newest single of 2021 called "Dirty Clothes". I wrote this song sometime around October of this year & it ended up being the first song for this years one song a week project that I'm doing. Dirty Clothes

I wrote this song in March of 2020. Had my parents house to myself for a few days so moved my basement studio to the upstairs living room so I could actually see outside instead of the brick walls of the basement. Came up with the rhythm guitar part, recorded bass, & then layered a lead guitar take. After getting that far in the song I had a show to play that evening. After that I got home from the show I wrote & recorded the lyrics. Check it out & let me know what you think!

This song I wrote back in October of 2020 on a day where I was honestly just feeling super down & looking for a way to get out of the funk I felt like I was in. So I went into the studio, pulled up the beat from that song that I had made the other day, & got to writing. After coming up with the lyrics in the verses I wanted to make the lyrics sound more hopeful & give me a reminder that any day can turn around if you change your perspective. So came up with the chorus lyrics.

“I”m so tired of being down, maybe it’s time to turn this all around”

This was another song I made between 2016 & 2017. A lot of my old songs I never ended up finishing to release until recently. I just had a graveyard of beats & songs that I had never finished and this was one of them. Some of my favorite and most unique drum sounds that I've used are on this track. I'm super proud also of how these harmonies turned out!

The beat for this song I made back in late 2016 & the lyrics were written in early 2017 after I had just got out of a stressful relationship. Came back & reworked the vocals & instrumental this year & now here it is. Give it a listen & let me know what you think!

Hate.

This song I made back in early 2017. I had made the instrumental about a year prior to having any lyrics for the song. I always really loved the sound of the bongos that I put in the beat though so just kept it on my hard drive until a time I felt like I had something to say over it. Then eventually came up with the lyrics late in 2017. This year when I started putting together all my songs for this project I stumbled across this tune & had to revise it. So this year redid all the vocals, mixed, & mastered it.

I made the instrumental for this song back in August of 2019. I had really only been focusing my time on production & not doing as much writing back then. I started making the song with the keyboard part that plays through the majority of the track & once I had that recorded it really set the mood for the other production to follow. Fast forward to October of 2020 with all the chaos that was going on in our country I felt like every day I’d turn on the tv to another crisis. It was just madness all around. Needing a break from the world  I went into the studio and played through the instrumentals I had made in the past that were ready to write to. When I heard the beat playing knew I was ready to write to it. Just finished recording the harmonies this morning & love the creepy tone of them in the second verse. I love how this one turned out & hope y’all enjoy!
