Sketches is a collection of (mostly) shorter ambient experiments, centred on the process of composition through deliberate limitations and restrictions as part of the creative approach. Examples include using only mobile phone applications as the primary sound source or working with a specific hardware synthesiser. While my "Places" album focused on organic sounds and field recordings, Sketches embraces a more electronic and otherworldly sound palette.
