Catalyst is a high energy modern rock band with classic and punk rock influences. It is a three piece band that can make a big sound. All three members can play and sing at the same time so if you didn’t know you might think there were more in the band. The band was form in the last winter of 2014. Although we have only been tighter for less than a year the many years of experience they had before they met have allowed them cover a lot of ground quickly. Nickolai Borba on Bass and Vocals has been playing for almost 20 years and has played, performed, and studied with many working professionals over years. This experience has help define who he is as a song writer and performer. Chris Caldwell has been playing guitar and singing for more than ten years. Mostly learned on his own and played in my bands forming his own personal style. Don’t let his shy off the stage attitude throw you. When it is time to perform there is no holding back. Craig Greenwood is more than a drummer he is the glue that holds this band together. With more than 25 years of non-stop playing he has a style all his own. Sometimes you will wonder if he has more than two arms and legs. All said and done this is the foundation of a great band with a bright future.
