Qilla Records proudly presents it's 30th release and the first one for this year! We kickstart a new chapter with Metha, one of Hungary's most popular underground Dj and Producer who's well known for his trademark sets ranging from breakbeat to a more raw-analog sound of techno. The release features two originals and two solid remixes. Gravity and Code are straight forward tracks that are very functional on a dance floor with a steady rolling low end along with a healthy dose of old-school rave sounds intertwined with bouncy melodic hooks and stabs. We have a strong dance floor burner of a remix by Vipul Angirish who's new techno project SHFT is taking everyone by surprise and just within a span of a year he's already had releases on Traum, Patent Skillz and Black Swan Recordings along with label boss Kohra. The second remix comes from Ejaz, one of Dubai's most respected upcoming techno acts and the resident Dj at Pacha, Ibiza (Dubai). His take on the remix really pushes things up a notch as he delivers a strong, hard hitting festival style version perfect for a hypnotic peak time set.

Club-focussed heaters are only a part of musical development. Sometimes you need to catch also the strings and melodies of a certain moment. From silence to wild nature noises, from sunshine to deep and dark winter mood. You are coming home with a melody in your head and you find peace in some hard and techy sounds coming in and bringing movement for your blood. Diverse like life, thats Mononoid's first longplayer. 

"Elf" is the first track creating a spacious atmosphere were you can loose yourself in, but still keeps you on the right track. "Anna" is intense and wide open, without loosing the trippy character. "Monorus" is full of magic with it's hard switch and it's spacey flair.A walk through an unreal world brings the track "Parks and Gardens" - a blues guiding you to a place in between where the clouds open up. 

With our dear friend Beatamines the dutch duo created "Yotta" which is a very techy track for the late night in the club. "Take steps" will bring you home finally with a bag full of new ideas and sounds. Enjoy this beautiful trip and don't get lost on the way - how the guys described it together with Amy White.

Ritter Butzke Club, based in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, celebrates their 8th anniversary. What once started as an illegal rave, is now established on the regular club scene. After all these years, it still maintains the charm of an ‘unfinished’ living room. “8 Years Lost” is a sound document created by resident DJs and friends to represent the vibe of the place and to share it with their listeners.

The young Russian with the golden touch drops another massive EP on the ever reliable Senso Sounds imprint. Long since lauded by the likes of Dubfire and Richie Hawtin, Maksim Dark returns to Oliver Huntemann's label for a follow up to 2018's exceptional Movement EP. Conti- nuing the theme, Kinetics is a three track EP with every bit as much energy and attitude. The title track bangs hard, wrapped in a slick production sheen that Dark has made his own. Bubbling synths and warped bass are paired with snappy, tight drum programming for a full throttle tech burner. 'Chainsaw' keeps with the vibe, a super low slung onenote bassline meets precision fire drums and edgy, mutating blasts of sounds. 'Believer' is created from a similar sound pattle, deep spacious synths used sparingly and with great effect, while the rhythm twists and turns around tight, punchy drums.

"The second edition of 'Terra Incognita' builds an epic union of the amazing producers and their breathtaking music pieces.
Greek producer Ziger and his 'After Midnight' became of the most successful Progressive House tracks of 2018, and now Ziger opens curtains of the release with 'Transparent' - a track, the pulsing energy of which lays the world of colorful melodies onto the right path.

Selador head honcho Dave Seaman returns to the fray, notching up another original release which now takes him into double figures for the label, an impressive tally which doesnt even take into account the substantial stack of remixes hes also contributed over the imprints 6 year history. 

Of course, as co-founder of the label with his trusted partner in crime, Steve Parry he holds some sway on what makes it onto the release schedule but thems the perks of the job, whatcha gonna do about it?! 

His latest creation, lovingly entitled Thonk! is the result of a few lost afternoons spent in the vaults of his extensive vinyl collection trawling for obscure audio clips to form the basis of this meticulous audio collage. It was a painstaking process that required patience to burn but as always, the devil is in the detail. Time well spent. 

His partner of choice for this particular release is Italian producer Whitesquare, whos proved himself to be a more than capable wingman by serving up an outstanding rework thats already being championed by the likes of Solomun and &ME. File under bass heavy super chic groover and crank it up!
