After the success of “On and On”, the last Danilo Vigorito album, ORION

ORION welcomes to the family another amazing artist, Nick Olivetti. He has 
been in several top 10 tech-house charts in the last 4 months with labels 
such as Kling Klong and Great Stuff. 
Groovylicious and Sensoave are 2 dance floor tracks with massive sound 
and grooves, a classic Nick trademark. 
The Danilo Vigorito remix completes this EP, with another vision of 
Groovylicious. 
Nick Olivetti BIO 
Upon graduating in London at SAE, in Audio Engineering with specialization 
in Electronic Music Production, Nick took up work as an audio engineer for 
6 months for the legendary Resident Studios in London, seeking a 
challenge he finds his way in the electronic scene remixing the world 
famous band RADIOHEAD for one of their competitions, the result is 
overwhelming, Nick's remix becomes the top most rated and played track. 
Nick has released several EPs and remixes with labels such as: Great Stuff 
Germany, Kling Klong, BluFin, D-vision, Night Drive Music and also via his 
own label "Fish Rec" promoting artists from all over the world. 
In 2009 Nick would be placed in the international magazine iDJ as the 
"One To Watch in 2009" , gaining exposure Nick's tracks will be released 
alongside names such as Benny Benassi, Rainer Weichhold, Ramon Tapia, 
Juan Sanchez, Jay Lumen, Romano Alfieri, Phunklarique, Mario Piu, Cube 
Guys, Danny Freakazoid, furthermore Nick will begin sharing the dj boot 
with names such as Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Timo Maas, Dirty South, 
Chris Lake and more. 
After sharing several gigs in clubs such as Ministry of Sound (London), 
PACHA (London), Lokal (Istanbul), Alibi (Rome), Hidden (London) just to 
name few, Chase and Nick are now working hard in the studio, the pair 
met when Nick signed Chase to the Fish Rec label that he worked for. 
When they joined forces their combination of House &amp; Tech proved to be 
unstoppable.

Nick Olivetti is no newcomer, he has already released under the name of Nick Olivetti on Kling Klong two times before and delivers his 3-track debut EP on Trapez ltd now, adding to it three strong remixes.

Nick Olivetti favours a combination of jumpy tempo reflecting minimal and techno house keeping his composition lively including rather surprising changes in composition at some times even surreal.

He is occupied as he said working with guitar sounds and was voted into the top 5 of the Radiohead remix competition some while ago, which he is very proud of.

So please lend him your ear and dive into the world of “Hectic Guitar” maybe the raviest of his three tracks... which shift from craze to an hypnotic state.

Mihalis Safras has written a super strong remix of “Every Minute Of it“ including Nick’s catchy female vocal and heavy drum, a really big tune. 

  Alli Borem’s remix is a bit more on the modern side of house more gentle and glamorous whereas Chase Buch has created more of a mixture of both and has worked together with Nick in the past.

And we're off! 
Who has the lucky task of following up Justin Martin's epic Ghettos & Gardens album? 
It's a sampler called "dirtybird summer" celebrating the sounds and sunshine of this year's amazing summer season.   

Track one of this diverse four parter is a melodic overture by the Munnibrotherz from South Africa who debuted on dirtybird last year with the hit record "Moon Chon Chayouh." 

Track two is a dirtybird virgin, Nick Olivetti. Some of you have probably heard me drop his track "Hectic Guitar" at some point on the road this year, it was a big part of my live sets. This new one "Jump Up" is just as deadly and even more focused on the super heavy grooves Nick is so good at producing.   

Track three is a really fun db style party track by Genghis Clan. Its got the big build up and the fun vox samples but the drop is pure house music and pure summer groove. It really works, especially outdoors. 

Last but not least are my buddies from Bristol, Waifs & Strays who are also making a debut on dirtybird with "Lost In The Party." This is kind of like a nu-disco style track if the producers were from Bristol and grew up on filthy basslines and roast dinners. Its also got elements of Detroit techno. Simple and effective I like to say..

Introducing the dirtybird players compilation, the follow-up to last years "Hatched" comp which was picked as the compilation of the year in DJ mag.  It's 14 original tracks split into two releases and featuring up-and-comers and old schoolers on the label. The musical direction of dirtybird is always evolving but that sense of good times is always there in the background, keeping you smiling and dancing in your house parties, giant clubs and car stereos around the world. 

Part one of the players comp is totally stacked with killer trax from veteran db artists Justin Martin & Ardalan, Kill Frenzy & Nick Monaco,  Munnibrotherz, and J. Phlip.  In addition some newer acts like Shadow Child, Nick Olivetti, & Supatrol all deliver monster tunes I really love as well.
