Here's a small demo reel comprised of a few tracks each, sorted by category. This track - My production work with Dead Cypher Records. This track is meant to demonstrate my ability to equalize, level, and "bring each recording artist into the same environment," as if they've all recorded in the same booth.

Originally composed for a TBA video game, still in development.

The entrance/sunroom/shrine area of a temple hidden far away. It’s the miraculous last bastion of moisture and greens on the desert planet from “Outskirts,” geographically impossible to sustain. There’s a sense of peace and curiosity here, as if the holy energy is all that protects this temple from what lies outside the doors. Originally meant to be a safe space, health replenishing area, and puzzle room before continuing onward.

Beyond a reasonable distance from civilization, you feel the sun oppressing you. Danger lurks around the corner. This is “Outskirts” with the melodic and rhythmic elements removed, meant to convey a sense of dread and evolution to the landscape, allowing these elements and stings to become the desert around you. The crooked calls of natives playing their instruments resonate louder out here, but you haven’t seen anyone. Are they trying to communicate? Were those your footsteps, or are you imagining things?

Outskirts Of Outskirts

Originally composed for a TBA video game, still in development. 

The limits of a town on a sparsely populated desert planet. You’ve passed the trading post, and while civilian housing is present, much of it is ruined by beings much larger than you or I. The sun is burning. Per the original concept, you’ll find some goodies out here, and maybe some journal entries, but you’ll have to venture further out to find what the wasteland gangs are hoarding – if they’re still alive.

Outskirts

There’s something not quite right about this forest. You can hear the trees speaking to you in languages familiar, but lost to time. Ancient sculptures battle the natural decay as the sun peeks through the canopies. A temple makes itself visible as you progress. As per the original concept, at 3:10, the temple is fully visible as you make your way toward it. Remnants of settlements rest in ashen wake.

Organic Exterior

Aboard a desolate space station, the fizzles of technology desperately trying to start up and greet their long-gone crew surround you. You can feel the frozen temperatures of space radiate through the metal floors and through your boots as you explore for signs of life – before they find you. This track originally meant to lead to an encounter that would displace the player into the depths and machinery of the space station.

Entropy Is Certain

The score for a short film produced for the 48hr Film Fest in New Haven, CT. Reality slips away from you, but would you ever leave? 

The track starts with chaotic elements beginning to find their way inside our main character's mind. (:38)He begins to hear fragments of her voice, still lost. (1:05)The permeating synthetic environment gives way to the piano, our character's swan song. (1:48)The chords become more desperate, reaching out for meaning, just as our character begins to make sense of his situation. (2:37)With every push outside of the root, we then follow our actor’s mental collapse as the truth is revealed. (3:53)As our actor collapses on the floor, unable to cope with his situation, the final note plays, finally transitioning into the credits’ reprise and reinforcement on the progression with added effects and instruments.
