Stories flowing from the creative mind of Nick Power of The Coral, a band loved for their own brand of chart-invading, twisted tales including hit singles Don’t Think You’re The First and Pass It On, have been gathered in his first book, Small Town Chase.  

Drawing together three years’ worth of writing, the 96-page book, published in the UK by Erbacce Press, sees Power (keyboards for The Coral since 1998) become one of the few musicians to apply their lyrical gift to poetry. Breaking free of the verse-chorus-verse constraints of music making to take new readers and fans of The Coral further into, perhaps familiar, mythic territories, the book is the first public outing for Power since the band’s last album, 2010’s Butterfly House.
