Nick is possibly best known for teaming up on Bass with Ex 'Split Enz' members Paul Hester and Neil Finn to form the rock band ‘Crowded House’ in Melbourne Australia in 1986.. After trail blazing a rake of worldwide top 10 hits and a few number ones, Crowded House enjoy a vast global profile. 
 In 1998 he relocated to Ireland where he now resides. His Dublin based ‘Exchequer studios’ has produced many contemporary Irish songsters, bands and a good few Film soundtracks. 
Nick in his collaboration with film notables such as Nicky Ryan, Patrick Jolly and Roughri Robinson has produced scores and sound design credits ‘Silent City’, ‘A Lonely Sky’, ‘The German’ and feature lengths ‘The Summit’ and ‘Sugar’ 

Nick spends much of his inspirational time in ‘Easkey’, County Sligo, surfing some of Ireland's most secret point Breaks.
