I was deeply in love with a super rad artist and she left me abruptly.  There was nothing I could do but turn to music that night and this is what I pulled out of the void.

After covid lockdowns, I worked myself into a full burnout after months of trying everything I could possibly think of to get my life back but absolutely nothing got me results.  My life deteriorated into a suicidal solitary prison bout and there was nothing I could do but fantasize about sticking my feet in a glorious sandy beach after all my plans worked out.  But they didn't, which brought me immense pain and tainted my view of the world permanently.

There are 2 tracks in a row in a SHAHDJs mix that were super memorable to me from the first listen, both are old-skool jungle flavoured but kinda timeless jungle tracks that I couldn't identify or find anywhere else online.  So as a fun experiment I decided to recreate a combination of both tracks based on my memory alone without listening to them whatsoever during the (re)creation process.  The result ended up being, well... you can be the judge but if you ask me, I would say it is kind of an old-skool meets new-skool jungle wubber that sounds almost nothing like the tracks that inspired me!  Strange how memory gets filtered before it is stored.  I hope you enjoy the way this little art project came together!

#NICKYDUBS is part introvert and part musical wizard/monster.  Everybody loves when he shares the vibe because he has a way of delivering the straight-up goods like nobody else, whether on stage or on the streets.
