DJ/producer Laura van Dam debuts on Smash Deep with ‘More Love’. Having made her name with standout releases on Protocol Recordings and DOORN Records, the Dutch native steps up for her first offering on the Smash The House sublabel Smash Deep, who continue to highlight their diverse tastes as they carve out a name as purveyors of the finest deeper cuts of dance music. 

Short, punchy stabs and reverb laden vocals kick off proceedings and set the airy, warm tone from the get-go. The beat follows in a similar vein, punctuated by a tight kick drum and brass-style synth tones that drives the groove in the track. The breakdown sees high-pitched flutters and luscious piano chords join the party, providing definition and separation within the track before the synth gradually opens up as the track builds towards its high-energy peak. 

Laura van Dam has seen a growing list of supporters sit up and take notice in the early days of her career, including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero, David Guetta and Afrojack. ‘More Love’ is another string to her bow, and an increasingly impressive arsenal of music that is set to catapult her to worldwide acclaim in the coming months.
