Best Of British Acid House Party with A Guy Called Gerald best known for his early work in the Manchester acid house scene in the late 80s and the track Voodoo Ray which was played first at the Hacienda in 1988 and then numerous underground clubs before entering the UK singles chart a year later, It was one of the first Acid House tracks produced in the UK, he then when on to form the legendary 808 State with Graham Massey and Martin Price with there biggest hit Pacific State who we also have live on the night for this a celebration of our great country's Acid house movement!! Last but defiantly not least we are very pleased to announce the return of Graeme Park {The hacienda Angle} the name speaks for self here he was one of the first DJs to champion the house sound in the UK, starting out at Nottingham's The Garage club in 1986 and first playing at FAC51 the Hacienda at The Northern House Revue in February 1988.

On The Terrace playing the upfront sound of today we are very proud to announce Simon Dunmore who initially co-owned London nightclub and label Ministry Of Sound, Defected's first release was Soul searchers "I Can't Get Enough", which reached No. 5 in the UK Singles Chart This early success was followed up with Roger Sanchez s "Another Chance", which hit No 1 in the UK singles chart in 2001. To date, Defected has released more than 300 singles from artists such as Bob Sinclar, Kings Of Tomorrow MURK, Inner City, Dennis Ferre, Mark Kitchen (MK), Copyright and Yousef. For this all day BBQ all night party the Union Jacks will be flying high for this very patriotic event where we show off all our great country's BIG hitters and innovators from years gone by and now, everyone on the night will be from the UK !!!! God Save The Queen !!! And look out for the royal family in attendance!!!

Nico has been a DJ for over twenty two years now he first started djing at 14 at underground parties and on the infamous weekend rush fm and from when he got his first residency at bagleys in 1994 for double dipped playing hardcore and drum and bass and playing in the house room he didnt look back the buzz of djing stayed with him, He then became a UK garage DJ in 1995 playing prime time slots for Weekend Rush , KIK fm, De ja vu and Flava fm playing for most of the biggest promoters in the UK such as being a resident at clubs like cafe de paris, klub storm, koo klub, Ministry of sound,The Colosseum,The Scala, Area, club space, EC1 Club, Astoria, Egg Club,Studio 33,Rex club,the island,The venue,Camden palace, club u.n, polo club,The Temple,The Gardening club,The Complex, Bagleys and The Roller Express and playing for promoters such as Trinity, liberty, one nation, garage nation, sun city, pure silk, 4 play, rags to riches, inspiration, telepathy, hysteria, united dance,Dreamscape,Decade of dance,Back 2 89,Dance 93,Plush, La Cosa Nostra, and spoilt 4 choice to name a few, He also played for many one off events around the UK. In london, watford, worthing, brighton, cirencester, folkstone, bristol, swindon, leciester, clacton, norwich and southend bringing him to the largest clubs in the land.Holding a monthly residency in Berne Switzerland and Crash Bar in Kavos in greece Nico played regularly in ireland, ibiza, spain,ayia napa and had a 4 month residency at the Crash and The London bar in greece in 2000.Nico then Moved onto funky house music in 2000/2001 when the garage scene had split and got a prime time slot on passionfmlive.com playing funky house and club classics and after broadcasting on there for over 12 years with various prime time slots.He then moved on to Projectfmlive.co.uk on a friday night for around a year and now finds himself hosting the select cutz s saturday night show from 8 to 10pm  on the uks leading house music provider www.selectukradio.com playing all different genres of underground house mainly deep tech chunky bassline and uplifting vocals but always trying to give people a london cutting edge vibe . Nico has recently played for nights at studio 33 ,Hidden, club supreme, The Colloseum, Scala, Koko, Egg, Shepherds bush empire, Opera house, Fluid, Raduno, Area,Pacha,Ministry of sound, Milton Keynes Complex, Warehouse Ldn the Open and many many more also playing in Greece,ireland and amsterdam. He currently plays for club nights incuding Promised Land, Funkin You, key of life,Hed Kandi,High Definition festival,We r Festival, Play house,Ava Word,House Phenomenon,Philosophy, gallery @ ministry and lets love he also has a brand new residency at his own night Diversion a new underground house night in london currently at Warehouse LDN and also has a monthly residency at the same club. After winning the made in shoreditch Dj competition in june 2012 Nico had been given residency at Mcqueens in shoreditch on a thursday night for made in shoreditch. Nico has a great love for music and has also produced house music he has completed a city and guilds in sound engineering a OCN in music production,a logic production course and a diploma in music production some of his material can be found on beatport.com,i tunes,spotifyy and junodownloads.co.uk and most major music download sites his production style varies from vocal house and garage to breakbeat to the new deep tech baseline styles.
