Nico (they/them) is an Italian-American Queerdo artist based in Brooklyn, but originally from the Bay Area. Nico has performed all over the country as an actor, and has garnered A Jeff Award nomination, and a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Best Actor.  Nico has had residencies as a writer with The Tank, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Grange Hall Cultural Center and contributes often to companies like The One Minute Play Festival, NY Madness, Theatre Breaking Through Barriers, and more. Nico's acclaimed solo show, "Pier Valentino's: Show Without End! (The Final Broadcast) has been performed at The So-fi Festival, The Tank, and at The Grange Hall Cultural Center in Vermont. Nico also performs as Pier in variety evenings like Symphonics Live at Bowery Poetry Club and Fear/Love at Theatre 167. Nico co-hosts an open mic at Mirror Tea House in Brooklyn with Melody Bates, and is a teaching artist with Epic Theatre Ensemble, Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and The 52nd St Project. Nico also is a filmmaker/visual artist and makes frequent videos and short films, and has directed episodes of webseries like "Bulk" by J Julian Christopher and Deneen Reynolds-Knott. These songs are mostly lo-fi, DIY demo recordings of the songs I've been performing for the last year or so as my character Pier Valentino. The style and quality of the tracks vary wildly, but I hope you can enjoy their earnestness and playfulness. I will add more over time, and eventually replace some of these with better produced version.
