My name is Craft and this week we present ALPI from Italy. 
They are a techno duo formed in 2014 with a passion for being creative geeks with machines and addicted vinyl collectors. They managed to create their own sound and released several records on labels such as Children of Tomorrow, Piano Forest, Planet Rhythm, Autarchy and Voight including remixes by Wrong Assessment and Moteka. They performed alongside great artists and have more records coming out soon on BCA and Southern Lights including a remix by Ground Loop. This beautiful set includes several of their upcoming releases.

BIO
Geek and creativity merged together to give birth to this new project. Italy based vinyl lovers/collectors and machines addicted they started their collaboration in the beginning of 2014 trying to create their own sound. They already played together alongside Markus Suckut, Regal, Kobosil, Boston 168, Wrong Assessment and many others.Their first release has been printed on wax as second release of PianoForest Records.Their second release has been released on Planet Rhythm gaining huge supports by the likes of ACR, Roman Lindau, Milton Bradley and many others. Their second vinyl only release is out on Autarchy Records, featuring a remix from Wrong Assessment. 

Out now an EP on Children of Tomorrow w/ Moteka remixes and a vinyl release on Voight w/ Wrong Assessment remix.

With his Italian roots, hailing from Napoli, Nico Parisi has always had a deep passion for music. His unique blend of progressive house, trance, and classics has made him a prominent figure in the electronic music scene, both in Belgium and internationally.
As the first DJ of the legendary Atmoz concept, Nico played a key role in defining a musical movement that shaped an entire generation of clubbers. Atmoz, the iconic club of Pat Krimson, became a phenomenon in Belgium and beyond. Nico Parisi was not only one of its main resident DJs but also released several tracks on the Atmoz label, helping shape the club’s distinctive sound.

As a producer, Nico Parisi has left a significant mark on the industry. He is the mastermind behind Aqualords, a project that he worked on with Regi, scoring several major hits. Additionally, Nico remixed Nunca ‘House Of Dome’, which was released on Tiësto’s label, and he also created remixes for 2Fabiola, the iconic dance act of Pat Krimson. This showcases his versatility as a producer and his ability to blend underground and commercial sounds.

This success solidified his reputation as one of the most versatile producers in the Belgian dance music scene. Additionally, he released tracks on the iconic Bonzai Progressive label, positioning himself among the most respected names in the progressive and trance world with one of the most famous being 'Caress' that picked up by Paul Oakenfold.

‘The Story Behind ‘Metro’ 
Nico Parisi & Erik Hubo 'Metro', was originally released in 2006 and immediately became Armin Van Buuren's favorite track and was played on Armin Van Buuren - Live @ Trance Energy 2006 and also released on his compilation a State of Trance Classics. 
‘Metro’ became an instant classic and recently experienced a resurgence thanks to Kevin De Vries and Maup, who released a new version on the influential Afterlife label. This cover became a global hit, achieving over 30 million streams on Spotify, and was recognized as one of the best dance tracks of 2023 and most played track at Tomorrowland 2023.

In line with this resurgence, Nico Parisi also released a new vocal rework of Metro, titled Neverland. The track was accompanied by a stunning music video, available on YouTube, offering a fresh, contemporary twist on the original while retaining the magic of its classic sound. 

To top it all off, Nico recently released his Best Classics compilation, a carefully curated selection of timeless tracks that reflect his musical journey. This compilation serves as a tribute to the music that has shaped him over the years.

His musical journey took him to some of the most prestigious stages in the world. In addition to multiple performances at Tomorrowland and Pacha Ibiza, he also graced the stage at Pukkelpop, one of Belgium’s largest and most influential festivals. 

His sound, marked by melodic depth and emotion, resonates with both clubbers and festival-goers alike. As both a DJ and producer, Nico has collaborated with influential artists and labels, with his music regularly supported by major names in the industry. His style constantly evolves but remains true to his roots: music with soul, emotion, and a timeless character.
