The ‘Down It’ EP marks a century and a half of releases from Clarisse Records, a major achievement from the Swiss label that continues to go from strength to strength. Two relentless, six minute powerhouses with Spanish stings in the tail and a touch of tech expertise commemorate the occasion, with the festival knowhow of Agus O and the rhythm and groove of Manu Soto ready to rock booths in a blaze of sweaty, bassy, funky house glory.
 
A shot to savour, the only way is up on ‘Down It’, a commotion of lively percussion rattling every available surface, and a bass throb consuming big rooms from top to bottom. Setting the foundation for some international hip-house, vocals doing call & response drills to get crowds swinging back and forth, the track unlocks computer game freak-outs along the way. It’s heavyweight, but doesn’t forget to have fun.
 
The same can be said for the sneakily hypnotic ‘Check Out’ – no-time-to-waste, deep house with plenty of clout, and more rap attitude on the vocals, making the dancefloor a fizzing mass of funky lava. Souler decks December dancefloors with three tinsel-trimmed house tracks, topping another tremendous, groove-filled 12 months for Clarisse. The hotshot Spaniard will leave you thirsting for more with a sunshine-seeking style sure to set off all end of year festivities, bidding to go big in 2025.  
 
Betting on a bass-buttered groove that can't miss, Souler starts his mission with the rattle of ‘Meu Amor’: an electric samba smoothly skimming across the club with its spell-casting Latin vox and focused key stabs both lifting crowds and providing club comforts. 
 
Souler then repeats the performance with the style and strength of ‘Jungle Lights’ setting off a similar bassline swing, aiming a slightly bigger boot club-wards compared to the tiptoeing finesse of ‘Meu Amor’. Helped by the spicy, ghetto chick vocals giving a face full of attitude, it breaks down the beats to basics on the surface, but is definitely, defiantly one to hold onto until the lights come on. 
 
Wishing everyone a happy new year, funky finale ‘The Night’ gets into it alongside Madrid compatriot, the real deal known as Red Effects: a vocal, processed soul, bass stepper with percussion popping off like corks counting down, this one's ready to reach the sky like it’s 11.59pm and ready to bring in another year of Clarisse domination.

After collaborating with Danglo for Armada Deep’s ‘Feel So Alive’, Siente lend a remix to 'Running Wild'. They transform the original with a 90s french house bassline, infectious percussive synth stabs and choppy vocal hooks.
