It took a little longer, but my next track in my adventure with production is here! With this one, I tried to go for that gritty sound, while keeping it bouncy and light. I tried some new (for me) techniques and had fun playing on the idea of 'dying' after a sloppy night (or day) out. Enjoy!

I was finally able to get a decent recording of an *entire* night from my summer residency with The Cuff, one of Seattle's most established, and currently it's biggest, gay bar/club. The Cuff is a place that has seen me through many phases of growth since I've come out, and I've had a lot of fun playing there since the state has re-opened. It's sooo dope to see the dance floor continuously pack out and get down to my sound 🥰!!

The mix starts out with some chill synth wave, inspired by the young gay couple that was on the dance floor slow dancing in 1980's prom fashion at the beginning of the night. From there, it goes into a phase of funky house and disco as more people join the floor in good spirits. As things continue to pack in, get sweatier, and sexier, it goes between a mix of bangin' house, tech house, and queer references that can speak to this particular crowd. I even played a couple circuit tracks to make a few queens happy, even though requests are a no-no and the genre isn't my fave, LOL. It ends with a few emotional club-enders; a portion of the night that I really enjoy finding tracks for 🖤It's a long listen, but it's an adventure that I hope you enjoy. The crowd certainly seemed to 😎Thanks again for all the support!!
