SURPRENANT !!! Au calme dans l'obscurité de ma chambre et puis, après une première chouette accélération rythmique, la touche qui fait qu'on adhère (2.57) sans plus aucune hésitation et qui pousse à poursuivre l'écoute. Quel talent ! Chapeau l'artiste !

DJ set from Mumush Festival 2022, new emerging and promising festival in Transylvania, Romania, in a beautiful green location between a long panoramic hill and a forest. It was Saturday evening-night and i had the responsibility and the pleasure to do the warm-up for Dekel, who was the headliner of the edition. Initially i thought i would have to start my set differently because i knew Tsu who was scheduled before me plays dark-ish psytech, but surprisingly he played much more atmospheric and melodic than i expected so i had to continue from where he left off and take it to where i knew i had to leave it for Dekel. It slowly builds up while having several ups and downs and plenty of variation but always accelerating the tempo, starts at 130 BPM and finishes at 140. I had a lot of fun during my performance, i love these kind of sets where you can have more room to experiment and play around, in contrast to a peak time set where you have to deliver a full on full power music. It's a very eclectic breaking-the-barriers fusion of psytrance, techno, progressive, zenonesque, acid, tribal and goa, constantly alternating the moods and switching between different styles and sounds. Here's the full version of the set which was presented at the Dome Stage in Ozora Festival 2023. 
This is what i originally designed to present with a duration of a bit longer than 3 hours which i had to shorten in the actual version by 'cutting' a couple of tracks (from the beginning and ending)in order to be exactly in the three-hour timeframe of the timetable, without of course 'interrupting' the flow and plot of the set.

So this is the full story, a journey through various genres, bpms and vibes with main intention to be as trippy, groovy and danceable as possible...enjoy :)))

DJ Johnny Blue @ Ozora Festival 2023 | Dome Stage (Full Version)

1st of November is All Saints in Belgium, the day we go to the cemetery to honor and pray for the people we lost. Because of the happenings at Nova Festival and the fact I was on that spot that same weekend, I wanted to honour all my personal pals and friends that went to the other world while dancing in an imaginary perfect world. I did this tribute through music. Sometimes words can't express feelings, but music can. This set was played at the Old is Gold party in Belgium the week after the happenings and it contains only music by Israëli artists, and some tracks from Naor Levi's (Dj Audiophiller) compilation. On top of that, many of the titles/samples have a special meaning as well. It is a 3 hours long journey from more darkish acidic goa-trance to heavenly melodic blisfull music. All mixed with CDJ2000's and original cds.

Important addendum: this tribute is not political in any way and, as a pacifist, I am against all violence. I believe every innocent dead person is a disgrace and a shame for mankind and I can only hope war stops right now. As a young dad every video with kids and babies that died or were bombed, simply breaks my heart. I hope all spirits of people that loved to dance and are not alive anymore can join in heaven on the wildest goa-party ever! Whatever history, color, religion or culture you have!
