Un brano che nasce per dare voce al popolo, in particolare a chi non ne può più di essere sfruttato e ingannato. Un brano che chiede alla politica di rinnovarsi radicalmente e che, nei fatti, dimostri di comprendere e soddisfare gli interessi della collettività. Nicola Stiso is a singer songwriter; he has a degree in Information Science.
Music is deep in Nicola's blood. At the age of 3 he was already well versed in singing popular songs he had learned from his parents, other family members and family friends. Then, right from the very start of his primary school days, he began both studying and playing musical instruments. Amongst the many instruments Nicola has mastered are the keyboard and the accordion. While growing up in Andretta, near Avellino in southern Italy, he was involved in many groups which provided an excellent basis for his continuing artistic development. This development was at first confined to the Campania region before spreading his wings to other parts of Italy. With his group "I Centauri", Nicola was heavily involved in the vibrant music scene around Alta Irpinia. However the band's commitments were not only musical as they also played an active social role. In the mid 90's a self penned piece took Nicola to the semi finals of the Caramanico festival competition.

In September of 2000 Nicola Stiso moved to Turin and for 7 years took no active part in the world of music. However his love of God, and of music, led him back to this world resulting in the release of his album "Un sogno che vivo" in 2008. This was the beginning of a development process which has brought great joy and satisfaction to this singer songwriter. Also in 2008 Nicola had a very important meeting at which he was introduced to Domenico Gullì, the manager of "Note Pulite" a recording studio in Turin. This meeting led Nicola to commit ever more fully to his rediscoverd path. With his maxi single "Finché ci sei tu", Nicola won the 2009 edition of a national competition called "Disco d'Oro". This prize is awarded to the best emerging artist of the year. On the back of this triumph Nicola quickly released 2 new albums. "Fai la tua parte" was an album containing 15 songs and was released on http://www.notepulite.it/aggiungi.php?id=13&id2=0. The second album was entitled "Fai del tuo meglio e prega" and it contained 9 songs. With the release of this album Nicola immersed himself in the digital world with its vast, ever growing audience. 2010 is the beginning of a new era for Nicola Stiso.

Nicola Stiso has a wide range of musical influences and these are often employed as a means of thanking God, through prayer, for the many gifts we have received. On Aprile 21st 2011 he released "Vieni". “Vieni” is the album which, without impinging on the Afro – American roots of spiritual music, takes pop – rock to a new level; a mystical level which expounds the artist’s beliefs . This is an album on which the Italian – Canadian singer songwriter proclaims the fundamental importance of our relationship with God. The roots of the 13 songs on the album lie in the Stiso’s conviction and are based on his personal experiences and faith. As such, these 13 songs are, in effect, personal prayers. The songs can be used on a myriad of occasions and offer the opportunity for reconciliation with God. All of these tracks, amongst which is one written in memory of Don Leone Maria Iorio, can be sung or listened to in any setting: indoors or outdoors, at church or even in a sports stadium. 
With this album, which is both an appeal to man and an invocation to God, the artist pays homage to the worldwide Catholic communion which should lead the way in praying both for itself and the whole of humanity. This is a work which offers up thanks through confession and bearing witness and which contains sentiments of joy and peace whilst matching gestures of love and charity. This work highlights, amongst others, the Communion and Peace hymns along with those for the Offertory, the Alleluia and the pieces which invoke Our Lady and the Holy Spirit. 
The turbulent political, economic and financial times being experienced worldwide are just one more reason to treasure this album. The scope of the album is to link the religious and lay, the civil and socio – cultural. The lyrics, rhythm and melody of each individual piece lends the whole work a focus on life and faith which looks forward with consciousness, humility and hope. 
Nicola Stiso, with “Vieni”, invites all of us to use music as a means of dialogue which can contribute to self improvement and as an opportunity for reflection through which we can appreciate our lives, and seek to do better.

“Per niente facile” is an album not just for our ears but for our hearts and minds too. The singer/songwriter makes plain his thoughts with the aid of a range of musical styles. The album, which contains rock, dance, country, pop, latin and swing tracks, tackles an eclectic range of topics including managing change, work, friendship, love and faith. Nicola Stiso also gives prominence to emigrants far from the land of their birth. Through these 15 songs he expresses his feelings and speaks out on behalf of a community which is tired of being ignored exploited and taken for a ride. In a similar vein other songs encourage us to pursue our dreams and to strive to bring out the best in ourselves. For example, songs such as “E’ ora”, “Prima che sia troppo tardi”, Perdona” and “ Così” stimulate us to push on towards our objectives and, even though they are mere songs, can help us to face up to life with renewed spirit.

“Per niente facile” is an album which causes us to pause and reflect on how to improve our behaviour. It’s a project in which the artist speaks both to and of himself, but one which is also directed at others in the humblest possible way. It is a new musical departure which seeks to address and improve both individual and collective interests.
