Wow, I love how perfectly chily-wintry this opening is... man!  You can feel the wind and everything.

The few percussion hits in the ending feel so dramatic by contrast.  It's like a small-scale version of Mahler's 6th.

Until I heard this, I didn't think I liked instrumental pony music? But this is so serene and chill! I love it!

Make a Happy Winter

"Get Up Strange" is about a day starting with a strange feeling. It is one of those days where you are not really here but in a meditative state. Still in the unconscious state from dreaming you start accepting everything that will come along the way and start enjoying just being. 

How it came into being: I (Cem) had this strange vibe - not really in the present but there was also a really clean vision for capturing this vibe. Dreamy piano chords and a minimal saxophone scream - done!
