It’s been many years since I’ve recorded and shared one of my sets—even though I’ve been playing gigs regularly over the past few years. The only way to experience my music these years has been in the moment. These performances have always had a very positive response from the audience and it’s that energy that I’m channeling pushing me to start sharing again. The support I’ve felt from the audiences lately—especially in New York and Mexico—has been incredibly humbling and motivating. I’m grateful for that support, and it’s inspired me to start sharing more widely again.

This recording is from a recent set I played at my friend @carlos_palacio’s birthday bash in Puerto Escondido, Mexico this past March. And wow—this one really went off. The crowd was electric, fully locked in, and we were feeding off each other’s energy from start to finish.

Toward the end of the set, I had this moment of clarity—a mix of the setting, the people, and a reminder from my recent return to meditation to be more present. I realized how rare and fleeting these experiences can be, and how important it is to really soak them in. I’ll carry that feeling with me, and I’m so thankful to everyone who was there and helped create that kind of magic.
