This is the digital dump of the Dat master tape, so it's the original old mix without the loss of quality due to the vinyl pressing.
And yes, it's the "REAL BOSS" singing ;)

This is the very original bootleg version as it was recorded on master DAT that June 6th 1999 at 7am after an overnight session started at 11pm the night before, started just after some spaghetti with clams and a bottle of white wine, maybe two! That's the true story, that's how it all started! 1 month later that DAT was pressed on a few hundreds vinyls. A year later, after a few months of very hard work of sample reconstructions, sound alike singer hunting, mixing, mastering and publishing clearance, it was finally officially released reaching in June 2000 the n°1 spot in the Official UK singles chart.

Nicolas Belson is a French DJ and producer who has been active in the electronic music scene since 1992. Originally from Reims, he first made a name for himself in Techno, becoming a resident DJ in iconic clubs, where he helped shape the energy of dancefloors and fuel the underground scene.

Over the decades, he has evolved with musical trends while staying true to his roots. A recognized producer, he has released several Techno tracks on vinyl, leaving his mark on the underground culture. He has also organized major events and performed at numerous festivals, solidifying his influence on the electronic music scene. Additionally, he has taken on artistic direction roles in clubs dedicated to Techno, furthering his commitment to the development and promotion of electronic music.

Today, Nicolas Belson is exploring a new side of his musical universe, transitioning from Techno to filtered House, deeply inspired by the French Touch movement of the late '90s. His sound draws from the essence of legendary labels Roulé and Crydamoure, shaped by Daft Punk, as well as the raw and festive energy of that era. Blending filtered grooves, disco-funk samples, and punchy electronic textures, he reinterprets this legacy with a modern and personal touch.

Always seeking renewal, Nicolas Belson continues to write his story, moving between the past and future of electronic music.
