Hier kommt mein Mitschnitt vom Fusion Festival 2022 auf der epischen Tanzwüste von Donnerstag auf Freitag 00 bis 02 Uhr. Bei Minute 10:22 merkt ihr vielleicht, dass der Track auf einmal ganz aufgeregt war und am liebsten davongaloppiert wäre. Transubtil Records presents the DIVERGENT POLARITY VA mixed by THE HORRIDS. The project was created in 2019 in France by Radikal Moodz & Shred’er, combining the top of their imaginations into a fresh style with energetic bass lines and grooves, all surrounded by organic textures broken by digital rhythms that create a full 3D world to travel inside, unique of its kind. A fairy tale journey with twisted sounds, off beat sequences and crazy sound design are some of their elements. 'Divergent Polarity' is a double CD of their 5-year-anniversary featuring two themes. The first CD showcases a selection of uplifting and energizing tracks, while the second CD delves into darker and more futuristic sounds that are sure to satisfy the night crowd. With its mechanical rhythms, driving bass lines, and powerful beats, this compilation offers a glimpse into the raw energy and intensity that we aim to bring to our future releases.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition we welcome i.am.nãda (@iamnadamusic) & DÂNTE (@dantesdreamworld)

i.am.nãda & DÂNTE are DJ's and Music Producers, but, more than that, they are alchemists of frequency. 

Sharing a love for the esoteric mysteries of sound and vibration, they are in constant exploration of the power and potentials of music. 

i.am.nãda & DÂNTE have been working on a collaborative live project over the last couple of years, developing what they call their "Side to Side" set. Here they join forces as two distinct artists to co-create sonic dance floor journeys of shamanic nature. 

This mix for Magician On Duty is an extended 4 hr live recording from one of their recent shows in Medellín, Colombia.

In March 2023, under the warm and golden embrace of the setting sun, we found ourselves at the breathtaking Tiniri Camp in the south of Tunisia. 

The ever-shifting dunes served as the canvas for our live set, capturing the essence of an extraordinary time spent in the Sahara desert. Our performance is a tribute to the very pulse of nature and our connection to it through electronic and organic music. 

Big thanks to our hosts at Tiniri Camp, we had the most beautiful time and hope it reflects in the live performance we share with you all today.

Having recently produced and released new material, @key-be decided that it was about time to record a new live set. “This way I’d like to share my music and enable listeners to discover my musical universe”, says the young musician. He recorded the set in his atelier in Paris - in a basement: “I spend a lot of time there because the quietness and solitude help me express my ideas musically while going deeper into the topic.” It is vitally important for him to tell a story through his sets. “It is not only about the tracks but rather some kind of contemplation throughout the whole mix, the feelings involved, cultural inspiration and a bit of my personality”, says Keybe. “The Nomad Soul” is the result of several months full of work and learning. Seine neuen Produktionen – sie waren die Inspiration, dass @key-be ein neues Liveset aufnahm. „Ich will so meine Musik teilen und sie soll entdeckt werden“, erklärt der junge Musiker, „und so können alle in mein musikalisches Universum eintauchen.“ Als er dieses Set aufzeichnete, war er in seinem Atelier im Herzen von Paris – und zwar in einem unterirdischen Keller: „Ich bringe viel Zeit an diesem Ort, weil ich es in der Stille und der Einsamkeit schaffe, meine Ideen musikalisch auszudrücken und tiefer in die Materie vorzudringen.“ Das Wichtigste ist für ihn, dass die Zusammenstellung eine Geschichte erzählt. „Es geht nicht nur um die Tracks, sondern auch um eine Reflexion im gesamten Set, das Gefühle, kulturelle Inspirationen und ein wenig von meiner Persönlichkeit vermischt“, so Keybe. „The Nomad Soul“ ist die Frucht mehrerer Arbeitsmonate, die mehrere Phasen des Lernens von Keybe zusammenfassen. Secousses Dans Tes Esgourdes

Here is the first set of mine for the new year ... its one hour recorded from a 3 hour set i played in January for SHIVAMOON at a Sangoma night on the legendary Koh Phangan island in Thailand. The last time i went was in 2003 so lots has changed but the spirit remained the same - although it is not as open anymore and one has to look a bit closer. Unfortunately my recorder didnt have more space to record the whole set ... anyway this should be a glimpse of foresty nighttime music ... Looking forward to be back back in Thailand soon.

Ever since I was young boy music served as a refuge, a safe haven where I could retreat to in order to escape the chaos of my surroundings, and the confusion inside my impressionable mind.  

In this world and human experience, we are impacted by our ancestors and the teachings and programs passed through our bloodlines.   Many of us are taught ways of being that are so far from who we really, and are often not nurtured in ways that foster an environment of peace.  

For me personally, it has become quite clear that the suppression of my being was a factor in leading me to feel quite insecure and inadequate.  At one point I turned to aggression, excess drug and alcohol abuse, and seeking external validation to attempt to cover up the deep feelings of shame for not being something I was not.    This is by no means fault to anyone because it is also clear to me that my family and those that mentored me along the way, had my best interest in mind.   

As I grew older, I became hardened by a rigid philosophy and lifestyle and believed some of the influences of American society to achieve the success of some kind of fame because just being who we are is not enough.   This perspective is so far out of balance to what the human experience is all about that it is contributing to creating more and more sickness and disease around the world.   This was certainly the case for me and in 2015 I was diagnosed with a life-threatening situation in my body. 

What I have come to understand though, is that our greatest challenges and darkest moments often create profound gifts because they are trying to help guide us back to our true essence.  

And so, with this violence that was festering in my body, I began to learn to slow down, to find peace, and to let go of the notion of what a successful person should be like.  And now I am learning how to tune into the gentle, yet strong being inside of me, and to understand that I am enough no matter what I do.  No matter what happened to us, and no matter how far we've drifted from who we really are, it's never too late to come back home and find peace. 

 I no longer create music to reach some level of so-called success, I create because music it is my medicine, and now more than ever I am finding that it is helping my body heal and step into the place I have been longing for since I was that scared little boy who was trying to make sense of the adult world around him.   

My hope is that perhaps the music that is coming through me can help others feel good, too.  Because at the end of the day we are here to help each other through this crazy and dynamic experience we call life.
