Der Rheinländer Dj und Produzent Nicolas Stefan sammelt seit seinem 12. Lebensjahr Schallplatten. Die entstandene Sammlung bereichert seine Sets um manchen ungeahnten Moment und vergessenen Klassiker! 
Mittlerweile in Köln lebend ist KOMPAKT ein wichtiger anlaufpunkt mit wöchentlichen besuch im Plattenladen. Als Produzent hat er neben Veröffentlichungen auf Labels wie KOMPAKT, K2, MBF oder Kittball bereits zwei mal einen Platz auf der alljährlichen KOMPAKT TOTAL Compilation ergattert. Seiner heimatstadt Solingen weiter treu ergeben veranstaltet er dort seit mehreren Jahren die Reihe UNDERGROUND MOVEMENT.
