Nothingness is an ambient work focused on the experience of emptiness and the crossing of appearances, in a static musicality, a naked minimalism. Slipping from one track to another is a way of entering into the perception of a moving sound seeking the movement of the listening point, in line with Michael Snow's visual work in "La Region Centrale". Nothingness is an on-site Odyssey, to go beyond the night.

Nicolas Tourney (born in Paris in 1982) is an experimental musician, intermedia artist and owner of the independent label Snow in Water Records. Through his scores/writings, workshops, and recordings, his musical approach is focused on direct perception, listening aesthetics, and human relationship to noise. Searching for a sound practice which draws the outlines of an idiom that questions the boundaries of the audible, his soundworks have been broadcast since 2018, and he has released 30 albums at a dozen labels in Europe and North America (MuteAnt Sounds, Diffuse Reality, Pan y Rosas Discos, Anticipating Nowhere Records, amongst others).
