Bassam & ILyes join focus as a new record label is born. The French based artists come as a collective, already affiliated via the Chevry Agency in Paris. Although no strangers to collaboration, their contribution towards the Facemelter VA marks their first track together.

The label being welcomed into the world comes from the team at Ritmo London. Although a relatively new name to the London underground (scene not tube), Ritmo have wasted little time making themselves known. Nicolas Will is a byproduct of early Midwest techno and acid, shaped in Minneapolis during the rise of the 90s underground. Influenced by pioneers like Paul Birken, Woody McBride, Frankie Bones, Terry Mullan, and the Chicago icon DJ Deeon, he began playing out in 1996 and built his craft through raw DJ sets and live PA performances long before laptops entered the scene. He later co founded Numb3rs, the crew behind a series of late 90s and early 2000s warehouse parties that helped define the Twin Cities underground. In 2009 he signed to Comfortable Records in the UK, where he continues to create and release music rooted in those origins.
