I always insecure about my overweight body since I was 15. I would constantly compare myself to others and feel self-conscious about my appearance. It wasn't until I started practicing self-love and acceptance that I began to feel more comfortable in my own skin. I realized that my worth is not defined by my weight, and that I am beautiful just the way I am. Embracing my body and focusing on my health rather than my size has improved my confidence and overall well-being. I am learning to love myself unconditionally and appreciate all that my body does for me.

This shanti (peace) mantra can be translated as "May all beings everywhere be happy and free." I was introduced to this mantra by Amma (Sri Mata Amritanandamayi) who reminds us that, even though we may feel like small candles individually, when we come together, our collective light can illuminate the world.
