This set is a culmination of my body of work up to this point with the first half being all originals.  After that I mix in work from others.

A word of warning, at first, you may find this set uncomfortable. It sounds familiar and you sit in a  space that feels nice and then I change it up. I say “You were good with this, but let me now make you feel something entirely different. It may be challenging for you, but I promise you can handle it”

I also threw in a small live PA performance in the set, which has now become a tradition of mine at The Great Beyond. Huge thank you to Intellephunk for allowing me the opportunity to perform for you all on the Communion Stage. It was superb and I am forever grateful to have a temple to spread my message from.

AJO aka https://on.soundcloud.com/qcTCH who originally comes from the depths of the black forest, is living in the Rhein- Main-Area since the last couple of years. Due to his father he listened to tapes from Good Looking Records and LTJ Bukem and was gifted a huge electronic music collection when he was 12, discovering Aphex Twin. A former Ex of his mother with who he used to live a couple of years, was a Didgeridoo player and introduced him into the more tripped out side of electronic music and the realm of the psy. AJO - Ambedo is heavily influenced by this background, the forest, his surrounding, the tribe and the dance.

The mix is a live arrangement, containing tracks from upcoming album "Ambedo" released on our label.

Nuestro segundo invitado: ABSIS (@absis_music ), también conocido como Salva Coromina. ¿Quién es ABSIS? Un DJ que ha sido parte fundamental de la escena barcelonesa desde finales de los 90. Bajo los alias de mouseDown/MouseUp, ABSIS ha sido residente en The Loft (@human_club ) y una figura habitual en el festival Sonar @sonarfestival durante muchos años.

ABSIS siempre ha estado explorando la cara más profunda de la música electrónica moviéndose desde el ambient hasta el techno.

Hoy en día, está al mando de su residencia mensual en el club Laut de Barcelona @laut_barcelona , conocida como "Midline", donde ha compartido la cabina con destacados DJs como Vand, Daniel(i), Unjin, Doctrina Natura, Guillam, Fon, Joachim Spieth, y muchos otros.

Además de su papel en la escena local, ABSIS es el residente del respetado festival MOSTRA en Barcelona @mostrabcn . Sus producciones también se han visto reflejadas en sellos de renombre como Hivern Discs y Oslated, entre otros.

''In a lovely spring night in 2017 one year after I moved from Norway back to Berlin I played a gig at Paloma Bar.  Some friends and me decided to go to an after hour at Griessmühle.  After a couple of hours my girlfriend and I got tired and were already on our way home  when I remembered I was invited to a day time party at ://about blank. A concept called Patterns of Perception. I had actually no clue who would play, but my friend who invited me told me I need to experience this and we decided to go and check it out after some refreshing food. When we arrived we got a warm welcome from the promoters and I think Kim Bergstrand was in the booth in the garden and played a trippy set. It was one of the first warm days of the year. There was a great atmosphere on the dance floor. The trees have only just developed their full dress of leaves and the sun kept shimmering between the canopy of leaves. Then Semantica boss Svreca started his closing set. This was like a key moment on my musical path. I was so enchanted by his unique hypnotic sound that I danced through his entire set and realized that I would completely change my own sound, which in previous years had been more house oriented. I will probably never forget this day and it still effecting me in the selection of my music today. Have a nice trip!"
