This fun experiment explores sound transformation in a way that's never been done before! 

Using modular synthesizers, I sampled short song sections from her album “Calambre”, created a variety of unrecognizable rhythms & put them together into a remix of her song “Arroro”.

Music is becoming stale & it needs a new direction. Creativity. Experimentation.⠀⠀⠀⠀

As I explored the soundscape & experimented, I asked myself:
● How much can I deform & redefine a sample before it ceases to be musical?
● Can a song have no cyclical structure & still be enjoyable? 
● Can rhythm, time signature & tempo change throughout the song & remain cohesive? 
● Can I implement new & unorthodox sounds without getting in the way of the Artist?

This remix, featuring Odd Mojo's "Channel your Mojo" album,  explores what can happen, when:⠀⠀⠀
● Sampling is taken to the next level
● We embrace continuous change, allowing a flow rhythm & new sound to blend
● Lines between the familiar & the unknown are blurred
