finsent live - stormcore (track 12)

Very emotional track for those that knew Finsent in his lifetime as this track was played at the end of his funeral on the 9th march 2004 

The track was released as he had intended, on Team Wasted 05 - the other side of the record features a long broken beauty by Finsent's good friend Typhique - 

Finsent allways had a great love for the harsh sound produced by the brothers from Wales under the name Somatic Responses, no matter if it was 4/4 or broken stuff ... this track carries its name with pride !
There is also a broken version of My Somatic Response  and that too will one day tickle your eardrums !

The material for the artwork was also created by Finsent who had just started to experiment with feedback pictures and video's, the sleeve was made with the help of Typhique, he still runs his own audio/visual design enterprise called Multitimbral 

This record saw a limited repress of 80 copies in 2012 as there were 80 original empty sleeves left over that needed to be filled

In July 2022, ACID BUBL gave a party @Brebl Nijmegen.
There were 4 live sets and 2 DJ's that created inspiring music all night long.

For this evening, Trippy D created a live set with a friend as CROSS FEEDER.

Introduced a new machine to my liveset and as it had been a long time, I had to sort of make myself familiar again with my setup ... This is in no way a finished story, but all in all I was pretty pleased with the way it sounded and progressed ... jamming along to my new machine, the incredible Pulsar 23  .... you should hear this one more often in the future :)

The liveset itself for the Bye Bye Breble party was a disaster ... could not distinguish my synths and also could not hear any voice samples coming out of the system ... there was a huge lack of midrange and I could not create a dense story but instead all frequencies remained in sort of solo presence and that made me feel pretty naked behind my machines :) sometimes these things happen ... and it was another lesson learned :)
so here is the one hopur jam I did the night before I played at the Brebl in Nijmegen ....

It's spring 2020 , I am spending time in the moroccan warm and hospitable surroundings of aourir and getting my truck painted and have  some work done on it, and then, out of the blue, the borders are being closed and there you are ... locked down ...

Luckily my truck was finished and we teamed up with a nice small group of vehicles in one of the loveliest surfspots and there was no-one around because simply everyone in morocco got locked in their houses for three months ... 

We were right next to the sea, cycling or walking on the beach  to some small villages to get bread and vegetables, taking water from a source, I had a perfect spot in an old riverbed, quiet and shady, and was happy to be able to make some music ...  and at one point get rid of my hair that I hadnt clippped or cut for 19 years, so yeah, thats me you see ..  it was a marvellous unforgettable time in morocco and I am glad I managed to make some nice recordings from some of the jam sessions that evolved ....

This was one of the last ones, when I knew I had managed to find a boat ticket with help fo the french embassy, finally after 6 months it was time to head back to mainland europe ... freedom ... innaway ....
